    What to do when you first arrive

    • Come and meet us at the International Student Meeting Point on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September.
    • Join the arrivals activities
    • Check your induction schedule online to see where your induction programme starts.
    • If you have missed and sessions please go to the Reception for New Students at the John Henry Brookes Building Reception, Headington Campus.
    • All students should go to the Reception for New Students in JHBB and the team will let you know where to go.

    • Our social events run throughout the semester so it's not too late to join us and meet other international students.
    • All students should go to the Late Arrivals and Enrolment Team in JHBB and the team will let you know where to go.
    • Lectures start the week of 23rd September. They will advise you where to join them.
    • Make sure you go and find key members of staff eg your Academic Adviser, Student Support Coordinators, Programme Administrators. They can answer any questions and give you the information the other students received during induction week.

    • Undergraduate students: please contact your Student Support Co-ordinators (SSCs) to catch up on what you have missed
    • Postgraduate students: please contact your Programme Administrator to catch up on what you have missed.

    • You will also need to contact the Accommodation Bureau to ensure your room will be held and the International Student Advice Team with any questions about your visa.
    • The very last day you can enrol is Friday 4 October 2019.

    If you are a Tier 4 student, you will only be able to enrol if you can show either:

    • a valid Tier 4 visa with Brookes' sponsor licence number OR
    • if you have not received your visa back yet, you need to show evidence that you have made a valid and in-time application in the UK for a Tier 4 visa using the CAS number for the course you are enrolling on.

    This evidence should be:

    • a copy of your visa application form (you can download this as a PDF from your UKVI account) AND
    • confirmation of your biometrics appointment

    The last possible date of enrolment is Friday 4 October 2019.
