Focusing on British literature, the ISAT British Book Club will help you make friends and learn about Oxford & the UK through fiction!

This is an informal book club, where everyone is welcome. We encourage you to read the books in English, but this is not essential – reading the same story, whatever the language, is the most important! The discussion will be held in English. You are welcome to join one session, a couple of sessions, or all of them – it’s up to you!

If we have enough time, we will also talk about our favourite titles, share tips on the best places to buy books, and have conversations about literature in general.

We want to give you the flexibility to join at the last minute, consequently it is not necessary to register in advance to join a session. However, if you know for sure you’ll come, it would be helpful if you could send an email to srobert@brookes.ac.uk to let us know.

There will be 4 sessions, see table below.
