London is conveniently easy to reach from Oxford. There are endless entertainment options, for every taste and budget.

There are 2 coach services which go between Oxford and London. They
run every 10-15 minutes most of the day, every 20-30 minutes late evenings and
hourly right through the night. Travel time 70-110 minutes depending on traffic.
You can buy tickets online or with cash from the driver. You
do not need to book. Once you are a student, you can get a discounted fare of
£10 return with your BROOKESkey.
There are 2 train stations in Oxford. Some trains to London
are direct, others will require you to change.
You can buy tickets at the station or you can buy you tickets
online. The fares are cheaper if you book in advance. You can buy a Young Person’s Railcard (also valid for mature
students in full time education) to save 1/3 off fares.

International Students House is a charity dedicated to British and International Students in London. They provide a vibrant student centre, based in Zone One. It is used by thousands of students attending one of the many International Partnership Scheme universities. Over 600 residents are housed in the accommodation they offer.
