Student volunteering in a food bank

The Volunteer Centre invites you to celebrate national Volunteers’ Week and thank all volunteers for their contribution.

There are great examples of where students and staff have volunteered throughout the year in a variety of ways from helping at food banks to helping children with their homework. We are proud of the different ways students have given their time to make a difference in the community. We would like to thank all those who have volunteered, in whatever way and wherever you have helped, it is deeply appreciated.

Get involved

Explore our volunteering webpages to find out how you can get involved in volunteering opportunities. Volunteering is a great way to help the community, make a difference and boost your CV and wellbeing! Volunteering opportunities can be found year-round on the Brookes Volunteering portal which is available to students and staff. There are also lots of one-off, fun opportunities on the portal happening over the summer, so check them out!
