If your answer to that question is yes, then read on as the Accommodation Bureau shares its options available to you from this September. Our flats in Brookes-managed halls and our shared houses available through Brookes Lettings are for everyone, not just first-year students.

Did you know?

  • Unlike many private properties, if someone chooses to leave your Brookes accommodation (either a flat in Brookes-managed halls or shared house through Brookes Lettings), you will not be liable for their rent
  • If you need it, support such as maintenance and security is available for all our sites
  • There’s no deposit needed for Brookes Lettings properties
  • You can save money with us - our average room costs 10% less than the average room from a private letting agency
  • Hall rent packages include all of your utility bills including internet.

Our Housing List is now live on our dedicated current students accommodation webpage. Bookings for Brookes Lettings shared housing open on 1 February and bookings for Brookes-managed halls open on 8 February - mark your diaries!

The variety of halls you can choose from includes the following:

  • Warneford Hall, Westminster Hall and Friar Court
  • Parade Green, Sinnet Court, Edna Rose and Champneys Court

Brookes Accommodation is an option for everyone

Depending on availability, it's possible for you and a group of friends to continue living with us - maybe even in the same accommodation that you currently live in. Or if you want to try something new, it’s possible to reserve a different flat or house elsewhere with friends and we can help you with this. To avoid disappointment, we encourage you to get in touch sooner as available places do go quickly.

If you choose to live in our accommodation, you can log into the Accommodation Portal and choose a specific room each so you know exactly where you and your friends will be living.

There’s no rush to make a final decision immediately

It’s important to remember that although it may seem tempting, there really is no rush to sign a tenancy agreement. Private housing options have their benefits, but why not consider the benefits of what we have to offer here at Brookes too?

Most importantly, take the time to make sure you’re happy with a decision and who you’re going to be sharing with before you sign a tenancy agreement. There is further information available on the Brookes Union website about this.

In response to changing student demand, we will no longer provide accommodation in Swindon as of the 2021/22 academic year.
