Managing your finances while at university can be challenging, and we understand that as the national cost of living continues to rise, you may feel concerned about affording your rent, bills and other expenses.

While there are many ways to cut costs and save money, such as taking advantage of student discounts, a part-time job can be a great way to earn some extra income, learn new skills and enhance your CV.

In this article we’ve pulled together some part-time jobs that you might be able to fit around your studies.

Curriculum Consultants

The Oxford Centre for Academic Enhancement and Development (OCAED) is looking to employ a bank of Curriculum Consultants. This role will involve working on a number of projects to improve teaching, learning and assessment alongside student experience here at Brookes.

As a Curriculum Consultant, you will have the opportunity to develop skills in:

  • consultancy

  • project management

  • leadership

  • and advocacy.

OCAED are especially keen to welcome applications from candidates who are currently under-represented in our student body. This may include students identifying from Black, Asian, Roma, Gypsy and other global majority backgrounds, working-class backgrounds, care-experienced students, members of the LGBTQ+ community and neurodiverse students.

Extensive training will be provided to ensure all students feel able to apply. The hours of the role are at the student’s discretion, allowing you to fit alongside other commitments.

If you would like to find out more, please fill in this OCAED mailing list form and a member of the team will be in touch.

Apply on the Oxford Brookes website - closing date is 13 November 2022.
