This Fairtrade Fortnight, support farmers across the world from the comfort of your own home!
Join this year’s Fairtrade Fortnight Fair online from 22 February - 7 March! We’ve partnered with local businesses, fellow students and our onsite catering team to bring you the best Fairtrade activities, education and offers.
This year’s Fairtrade Fortnight theme is ‘choose the world you want’, focusing on how climate change affects farmers. Fairtrade is about better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world; the small choices we make can have a huge impact on their everyday lives.
So whether you want that lockdown banana loaf ticked off from your bucket list, to make a head start on your Easter chocolate stash, or win yourself a hamper to try lots of Fairtrade goodies; this Fairtrade Fair is for you!
Ready, set, bake!
From Monday 22 February you can watch our very own banana man make a Fairtrade, vegan and gluten free banana bread. Join the wacky video competition for your chance to win a Fairtrade tote bag filled with Fairtrade goodies!
Or watch Daisy, Brookes Union President, bake our Fairtrade vegan and gluten free banana bread and join their bake-off competition for a chance to win a Co-op Fairtrade hamper worth £50.
Details of both bake-offs and banana bread recipes can be found on the Fairtrade Fair webpage.
