Walk and Talk returns

27 April 2021

Three students chat as they walk along the side of a river in the background you can see the tower of Magdalen College chapel.

The Wellbeing department are really pleased to be able to fit in one more Walk and Talk before the end of semester:

The walk takes place on Thursday 6 May and open to all Oxford Brookes students. If you would like to join please meet at 12 noon outside the Buckley Building, Headington Campus.

Now more than ever, both walking and talking can have a positive impact on our mental health. But it’s not always easy to find space for either. We get together once a month to share a walk and time together (walking and not talking is also okay).

In order to run the group safely at the moment, we need to:

  • Ask that no-one attends if they have any potential Covid-19 symptoms;
  • Walk in smaller groups (up to 6) if we need to;
  • Keep a social distance whilst walking;
  • Ask for personal details (name, student number) for track and trace purposes.

To find out more, please contact Kerry Davies (k.davies@brookes.ac.uk) or Kate Owen (kateowen@brookes.ac.uk).
