We have Hall Regulations (PDF) to help to ensure that all of our residents behave in a way that impacts as little as possible on other people, and respect other people’s privacy and wellbeing. All residents are expected to abide by them. Responsibility for the welfare and behaviour of residents rests with the Residence Manager.
There are fixed penalty fines (PDF) for certain breaches of regulations.
If you are found to be in breach of Halls Regulations, you may be called to an interview with a Hall Warden, Hall Manager or Accommodation Team Manager. If you have been called to an interview, please respond as soon as possible to confirm whether you can attend or not. Not engaging with the process is a breach of the Student Conduct Regulations. This meeting will be your chance to discuss the incident, provide any evidence and documents and talk about your behaviour. You have the right to have a witness present.

At an interview, you may be found not to be in breach of regulations, may be given a penalty or you may be referred to a Conduct Committee if the breach is considered to be severe.
