Overview

At Oxford Brookes, we deeply value our students from the EU and we will continue to do all we can to welcome EU students long into the future.

We are therefore delighted to announce that we will be offering scholarships of £3,000 to all EU undergraduate students who wish to join our degree programmes in the academic year 2023/24. If you meet the criteria, please note that the £3000 scholarship will be applied automatically as a discount to your tuition fees and will apply to each year of your undergraduate study.

Please note that this new £3,000 scholarship for 2023/24  replaces our previous EU Student Support Scholarship.

Eligibility

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must:

  • have an offer from the University to begin a degree programme in the academic year 2023/24 and to have firmly accepted that offer,
  • be a passport holder of an EU country / have EU nationality,
  • be an international fee-paying student,
  • be studying a full time 3 or 4 year undergraduate degree (including Foundation programme, year 2 or year 3 entry), delivered at an Oxford Brookes campus.

Please note, any Continuing Professional Development (Healthcare) course is not eligible for this scholarship.

This funding is available to students studying on the following courses:

Terms and conditions

The scholarship will only be available to students commencing a degree in the academic year 2023/24. This includes the following entry points:

  • September 2023
  • January 2024

The scholarship scheme will not apply to:

  • students who qualify to pay Home (UK) fees
  • placement years
  • ACP students
  • students where the Home and Overseas fee are the same level.
  • distance learning students
  • students who are sponsored

The scholarship will be awarded as a discount applicable to the student’s second semester of tuition fees.The scholarship will not be available to claim in conjunction with other scholarships by Oxford Brookes.

Please note that if you are applying for a PG Diploma or Certificate that the level of the award will be commensurate with the lower programme fee. Please email scholarships@brookes.ac.uk for more information.
