Robyn Leigh Mills
BA Fine Art at Solihull College
Working in social services introduced Robyn to the idea of art therapy as a career. Having always been interested in art, it seemed the perfect way to help people but required an arts related degree followed by a master’s would be necessary. Having been awarded a BA in Fine Art at Solihull, Robyn is now studying for her master’s at Birmingham City University. She is still interested in pursuing art therapy or phototherapy type community-based work, but is also considering further study for a PhD.
“The course offered plenty of scope to explore my interests and experiment with different techniques. I honestly don’t think I would have got a first class degree anywhere else. The tutors were so hands on. If you ever need them you know where to find them”.
