Tuition fees for each course are listed online along with the specific course information, so please check the relevant course for confirmation of its fees or contact Student Finance.
If your Programme continues for more than one academic year, your tuition fees may increase annually. The following factors will be taken into account by the University when it is setting the annual fees: inflationary measures such as the retail price indices, projected increases in University costs, changes in the level of funding received from Government sources, admissions statistics and access considerations including the availability of student support.
You can pay your tuition fees in full at the start of the academic year or in two equal instalments at the start of each semester - in September and January.
If you have a sponsor, such as a commercial or charitable organisation who is paying your fees, you will need to provide an official letter of sponsorship from them. This letter should include: the invoice address, name of student, amount of sponsorship and a contact for whom invoice should be sent to. We will then invoice them for the full fee amount giving them 30 days to pay. Please note that if your sponsor fails to pay your fees, you will be liable.
Parents, family members or friends who may be paying your tuition fees are not classed as sponsors.
If you formally withdraw within four weeks of the start of the semester we will normally refund tuition fees.
The refund policy does not apply to students of Oxford Brookes International or students who go on a residential course within the first four weeks of a semester.
Our tuition fees cover the cost of delivering your course, and are payable annually. Further costs may be incurred by you, including:
Many courses include optional field trips and work placements, where participation is encouraged but not required to evidence module or programme learning outcomes and will not disadvantage you should you not be able to take part. These optional activities are at additional cost to you.
Your annual tuition fees will cover your first attempt at all the modules necessary to complete that academic year of your programme. Additional modules, or retakes, may incur an extra charge.
For additional information, please see the individual course page.
