Study Higher is funded as part of the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP) which aims to promote social mobility by encouraging access to higher education for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Under the NCOP, we are required to work with young people in school years 9 -13 who live in specific geographical areas across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Swindon.
Our Events and Enquiries Team deliver events across our four campuses throughout the year. From large open day events to small campus tours, the friendly team welcome prospective visitors and guests to explore our fantastic facilities and find out more about what Brookes has to offer. As the first point of contact for any calls and emails into the University, the team also answer queries and direct enquirers to the departments/colleagues they require.
Our evaluation team supports the work of the UK Recruitment & Widening Participation teams in developing events for schools & colleges, and oversees the planning and reporting mechanisms associated with these activities
