    Overview
Guided by two of our undergraduate Student Ambassadors, your pupils will learn about a specific topic chosen by our students and staff, culminating in a final project outcome.
  • Who the event is for

Year 8 students who meet certain widening participation criteria who school staff feel will benefit from super curricular mentoring.

    About the event

Our undergraduate Student Ambassadors will mentor pupils on a specific topic (such as news reporting on a recently discovered superbug or creating gym equipment to present to a Dragons' Den style panel). The sessions are informative and engaging and will encourage creative thinking.

At the end of the workshops your pupils will have created an end product and are invited to a celebration event at either our Headington or Swindon Campus. They can see the university setting in which their mentors learn and then present the final outcome from their project, celebrating the work they have undertaken.

If it is not possible to attend campus, we can arrange to hold the celebration event at your school.

Please note, we are unable to provide support with transport to the celebration event on campus.
