Ways to give

  • Regular giving

Regular giving is very important to Brookes. Knowing that we can rely on donations throughout the year means we can plan ahead and investigate funding more projects.

Planning a gift in your Will

By leaving a gift to the University in your will, you will be making a lasting contribution to our development as a modern and innovative centre of learning. You will help to transform lives through scholarships and bursaries, solve world problems through supporting research and inspire students through funding community projects and opportunities to carry out field research.

Leaving a gift in your Will does not have to be complicated or expensive: all gifts, large and small, are extremely valuable to us. If you wish to make a gift of learning resources, such as books for our Library, please visit our Library webpages for guidance on what we can accept.

    Tax efficient giving

If you pay tax at the higher or additional rate, you can claim the difference between the rate you pay and basic rate on your donation. You can do this through your Self Assessment tax return or by asking HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to amend your tax code.

Gift Aid: Gift Aid is a way of allowing a charity to claim tax relief on gifts made by UK taxpayers.
