Have you always wanted to draw a
sketch? Discover how easy is to capture your favorite urban or landscape
scenery by joining Isabel Zozaya’s session about urban sketching.
Isabel is a member of the Faringdon Art Society and was recently invited
to participate in the Oxfordshire Arts Week. She was a teacher
in higher education in BA in Architecture and Habitat Design in México for 6
years, where she rediscovered her passion for painting. She has also taught the
following courses related with arts: urban sketching, architecture workshops,
Geometry for Architecture. She is currently completing a PhD in Urban
Design at Brookes.
Bring along some
sketching materials:
- 5 A3 blank
sheets
- 2 A3
watercolour sheets (we have some spare sheets available in case you don’t have
any)
- Sketching pencils (any available to sketch.We suggest
HB. However, other points are always welcome: 2B, 5B or 6B)
- Fineliner and permanent marker pens
- Watercolours (you don’t need to spend money buying
them. We will bring some in case you don’t have them)
- Eraser and sharpener or cutter
- A rigid A3 surface (you could use the same block of A3
watercolour sheets)
- Masking tape
(Remember we all can
share all materials)
Sketching Prize
Just for fun, we will have a
prize voucher for one artist after the first session.
