Cultural Geometries is a design studio, which explores architectural potential in urban areas undergoing or awaiting development.
The design focus is investigating creatively the cultural relevance of architecture, through testing spatial opportunities across cultural, economic and physical scales.
The studio uses direct engagement and making at 1:1 and film as key design instruments and benefits from on going collaboration with Marble Quarries and Amorim Cork Factory.
Current areas of supervision and teaching
Experience of teaching and running design studios at both postgraduate and undergraduate degree level.
Currently running an undergraduate design unit, teaching 2nd and 3rd year architecture.
