Chris Jennings has been a Senior Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University since 1995 and has been the course leader for the MA in Electronic Media and the MA in Interactive Media Publishing.
In his early career Chris was a practicing artist and designer and has exhibited his photographs and sculptures nationally and internationally. He became involved in computer-generated art works in the mid 1980s and has subsequently worked in the field of computers for art education. Chris was one of the pioneers to adopt CD-ROM and multimedia technologies for clients such as the BBC, the British Museum, Harper Collins and Heinemann, winning several awards for these projects.
Chris continues to practice as a producer of interactive projects and has completed a local history resource with Oxford County Council as well as other projects. As the internet has overtaken CD-ROM as a preferred publishing platform Chris has developed wide-ranging expertise in web design and interactive ‘eBooks’.
