Tiffany Black is an artist and lecturer who, since 2003 works as part of the art partnership brook & black, with London-based artist Leora Brook.   Tiffany balances her creative practice with teaching at UG and MA level.

The work of brook & black is located both within and outside the gallery context and contains an ongoing exploration of architectural space; psychogeography; memory, order and chaos. They make work for galleries, undertake public art commissions and community projects.

brook & black have had research/exhibition based residencies in both UK and international gallery settings, including the World Heritage Site in Greenwich, at the Wallace Collection, London, Crystal Palace Park London, Modern Art Oxford, the Toulouse Lautrec Museum, Albi, France and the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford.

Participatory and socially engaged methods are often a part of brook & black’s working process.
