I am a Reader in Organisational Studies in the Built Envrionment, and jointly lead the University's Sustainable & Resilient Futures Research, Innovation & KE Network, as well as the School's Smart Construction & Impact Assessment Group. Between 2018-2020, I was a Brookes Teaching Fellow, leading a teaching & learning project on fostering inter-disciplinary collaboration.

I trained as an architect in Turkey (BArch'93, METU, Turkey) and have a PhD in Environmental Studies from the Bartlett, UCL (2003), an MA in Conservation Studies (Buildings) from the University of York (1997), and a PgCert in Teaching in Higher Education from Oxford Brookes (2006).
