My research centres on nutrition/dietary interventions, with a particular focus on the role of eating behaviour in ingestive decision making, weight regulation, and prevention and management of nutrition-related health conditions. My most recent projects aim at shedding some light on the debate around sugar and food ‘addiction’. I have also a long interest in malnutrition including sarcopenic obesity and led and/or be contributing to relevant clinical projects.
As part of my research, I have also developed and validated a 10-minute taste test to identify people with different hedonic responses to sweetness.
