Sarah is a part-time Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing within the Department of Nursing. She has worked in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences since 2004. Prior to this she worked as Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing at Middlesex University. From 1995 to 1999 she worked as a Lecturer Practitioner in surgery at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
Sarah combines her role in the Faculty with part-time work at St. Ebbe's, Headington where she works with 20/30's and is the Pastoral care worker.

Sarah’s research interest has included work on the psycho-social effects of leg ulceration and treatment of leg ulcers. In addition she has undertaken research in relation to the treatment of a pilonidal sinus wound and pain management in wound care.
Her teaching interests include evidence based practice, cancer care and palliative care. Alongside this she is also interested in the carer/user role and how this can be integrated into the teaching and delivery of the Adult Nursing Programme.
