Lesley is Senior Lecturer in pre-registration Adult Nursing for Oxford Brookes University in Swindon. She graduated from the University of Surrey and specialised in care of older people, in acute medical assessment and medical rehabilitation settings, working in Edinburgh, Swindon and Oxford. She joined Oxford Brookes University in 1990 as a Lecturer Practitioner in clinical gerontology. She became a lecturer for the University in 1999 contributing to the establishment of the Adult Nursing programme in Swindon.
Lesley contributes to the delivery of the pre-qualifying Adult Nursing BSc (hons) and Masters programmes. She has a particular interest in care of the older person and enhancing the student learning experience through curriculum design and student support.
