Natalie taught learning disability nursing at Oxford Brookes from 2000-2010. In 2010, she transferred across to the Adult Nursing programme in Swindon.
In her MSc, Natalie was particularly interested in the Advanced Care Planning process for children and families and completed a work based project in this area. Natalie's dissertation answered the question "what are the benefits of introducing service improvement to pre-registration healthcare students?".
Natalie develops and supervises service improvement projects within the pre-registration masters programme.
Natalie's particular teaching interests are vulnerable groups such as people with learning disabilities and children, including safeguarding, mental capacity, reasonable adjustments, person centred care, communication, advocacy and empowerment.
