Before joining Brookes full time in summer 2018 I was certified as an Oxford Teachers' Academy Teacher Trainer with Oxford University Press and was also employed as an academic literacy tutor with the University of Oxford Department of Continuing Education on Diplomacy Pre-Master's courses and short courses. Prior to working in Oxford I was an EAP lecturer on pre-sessional and foundation courses with the University of Warwick, Coventry University and the University of Gloucestershire. Previous teaching experience includes working in ESOL, EFL, ESL and HE contexts primarily in the UK but also teaching students and training fellow teachers in Italy and China. Before I undertook my initial EFL teacher training in 2003 I worked in media, banking and customer service sectors.
