Ksenia started her full-time PhD program under the supervision of Prof. Simonetta Manfredi and Dr. Louise Grisoni in April of 2016.
An Organisational Psychologist by education, Ksenia chose Human Resources Management as her career direction. She brings with her over 15 years of international experience in the areas of organisational development, change management, manpower planning, talent development, executive coaching, performance management, career counselling and recruitment.
Her industry-specific expertise runs across engineering, consulting, advertising, medical and construction sectors with such organisations as Schneider Electric, Jones Lang LaSalle, Smith & Nephew and Hilti. Prior to commencing her PhD project, Ksenia has spent several years with the executive search industry, where she led the top management appointments in the aerospace & defence, automotive and engineering sectors with Odgers Berndtson.
Originally from Russia, Ksenia’s regional area of expertise is Middle East & North Africa, where she has operated across such markets as Egypt, Libya, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the U.A.E., among others.
In addition to her degree in Organisational Psychology, Ksenia has an MBA from IMD in Switzerland and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) in London, UK.
Working closely with the Centre for Diversity Policy Research and Practice, Ksenia’s PhD project will be looking into the “Under-representation of Women on Executive Boards”. This work aims to explore the gender diversity of UK FTSE 100 businesses, differentiating between non-executive and executive directorship positions.
