• Brookes Learning and Teaching Conference and Exhibition

BLTC17: 14 June 2017: Working to together, impacts and challenges conference website

The Brookes Learning and Teaching Conference is a place where innovation, creativity and alternative perspectives on teaching are openly exchanged. It is both a conference and an exhibition of current projects.

This annual, event has a reputation for inspirational sessions, led by passionate and insightful colleagues and students, often in partnership. We want you to participate and encourage you to be creative in getting an audience to engage with your ideas. In 2014, for instance, one highly successful method was a ‘walk and talk’ event.  In 2015 we combined the conference and exhibition of innovations with an exhibition of student work from our Associate College Partnerships on the messy process of research and in 2016 the theme of the conference was “Learning on the Edge”, exploring the different influences that peripheral spaces: mental, digital, physical and liminal can have on learning.

The conference is open to the Brookes learning community, and explicitly welcomes student and learning support staff involvement.
