Assessment Standards Knowledge exchange

ASKe was established as a Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) based at Oxford Brookes University Business School. It was set up in the summer of 2005 with a £4.5 million award (spread over five years) from HEFCE in recognition of good practice based on pedagogic research into aspects of assessment. The project focused on developing an evidence base and good practice to support HE communities in sharing understandings of assessment standards.

ASKe's work continues at the Pedagogy Research Centre (led by Professor Margaret Price) based in the Faculty of Business at Oxford Brookes. This website, whilst still containing project information from the CETL period, is still active and we will continue our innovative range of resources, including our popular 123 leaflets, annual events and seminar series. We look forward to future collaboration with you.
