Postgraduate courses

Postgraduate study can advance your career and open doors for your future.

Excellent teaching, strong partnerships and broad research expertise make Oxford Brookes the ideal place to study for a postgraduate qualification – whether you are aiming to deepen your subject knowledge, acquire a professional qualification or undertake your own original research.

Taught master’s courses

Our taught master’s typically last one year full-time, or up to two years if it includes a work placement. Master’s qualifications include LLM (International Law), MA (Arts), MArch (Architecture), MEng (Engineering) and MSc (Science).

Shorter Postgraduate Diploma or Postgraduate Certificate options are available for some courses.

Pre-Masters courses will improve your study skills, subject knowledge and academic English so you are ready for a master’s degree in the UK.

“With my cohort, it was a fantastic experience to meet so many people from different backgrounds. It enriches you culturally, and I would recommend that anyone who has the opportunity to experience different cultures fully embraces it.”
