Overview
Oxford Brookes Law School is permitting the University of Law (ULaw) to deliver specialised, postgraduate legal training courses at Oxford Brookes University. From September 2025, ULaw's LLM Legal Practice (SQE1&2) will be available as a full-time, in-person programme on our Headington campus in Oxford. This course will provide a practical pathway to qualification as a solicitor under the SQE framework, and will equip students with advanced legal knowledge, practical skills and commercial awareness essential for a successful legal career.
The LLM in Legal Practice (SQE1&2) is awarded by ULaw and will be delivered by ULaw staff in Oxford Brookes’ classrooms. You will enjoy access to many of our facilities, including a sports centre, library and much more on our vibrant campus. Studying with ULaw at Oxford Brookes means you can continue to enjoy your university experience whilst studying for a professional, legal qualification.

Specific entry requirements
An undergraduate degree at 2:2 or above in any discipline (or equivalent), as well as evidence of knowledge of the seven foundation subjects of law.
English language requirements
An English Language level equivalent to IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component.
