Placement schemes

Many programmes offer the chance to undertake a placement out in industry while you study. This usually involves having a mentor to support you. For some programmes in healthcare and nursing, architecture and construction, a placement is a compulsory part of the course but for most programmes it is optional.

If you are interested in finding out more about placement opportunities available to you:

  • Check your programme details to see whether there is a placement, work experience, or professional practice type module that is acceptable to your course;
  • Speak to you Academic Advisor about placements;
