Fees

Undergraduate courses

• Following the UK Government’s announcement on new higher education reforms, Oxford Brookes is increasing its undergraduate degree tuition fee for UK students from £9,535 to £9,790 for the 2026/27 academic year. 

• If you are eligible for a tuition fee loan, this will continue to fully cover the increased fee and your monthly loan repayments once you leave your course will not be affected, as this is based on your earnings rather than on the total amount you owe.

Postgraduate courses

• Our postgraduate taught fees vary, but you can find out more by selecting your course using the fee finder or by looking on the course webpage.   We offer a payment plan to students in receipt of a UK Government Postgraduate loan.

• Our postgraduate research fees, including PhD by published work, are £4,712 a year for full-time study (part-time: £2,553) in 2025/26. For international students they are between £16,100 and £17,500 depending on programme of study.

Undergraduate courses

Our undergraduate tuition fees in 2026/27 are £1,220 per single module study (2025/26:  £1,190).

Postgraduate courses

Our postgraduate taught fees vary, but you can find out more by selecting your course using the fee finder (above) or by looking on individual course pages.

Our postgraduate research fees, including PhD by published work, are £2,356 a year. For international students they are between £8,050 and £8,750 depending on programme of study.

Undergraduate placements

If you take a work placement for a full year, you will be charged a fee applicable to the academic year in which you take your placement. The fee for placements undertaken in 2026/27 is £1,905 (2025/26: £1,700) for home and international students.

If you are a UK student studying a full year abroad with an international university (e.g. Exchange, Turing) the fees in 2026/27 are £1,465 (2025/26: £1,430).

If you are an International student studying a full year abroad with an international university, you will pay the standard full-time fee. This applies to students studying a three-year degree.

Postgraduate placements

For 2025/26 the fee for postgraduate placements is £1,700 for both home and international students, except for Business School placements where the fees are £2,200.

International students studying as undergraduate associates and Study Abroad students in 2025/26 will pay £8,375 tuition fees for a semester (September - December, or January - May), or £16,750 for full year study. 

Undergraduate

• Our undergraduate degree courses studied at one of our partner colleges in 2025/26 and 2026/27 are £7,700 a year full-time for UK students, and £3,850 for part-time students.

Foundation

• Our foundation degree fees in 2025/26 and 2026/27 are £7,700 per course full-time for UK students, and £5,140 per course part-time study.

Global Banking students

Tuition fees for academic years starting between 1 August 2026 and 31 July 2027 will be:

• BA (Hons) Global Business and Entrepreneurship

  • Level 4-6:              £9,790
• BA (Hons) Health, Wellbeing and Social Care
  • Foundation year: £9,790 
  • Level 4-6:              £9,790
