Online payment terms and conditions

These terms and conditions relate solely to the payment transaction that you wish to make and are secondary to the University’s terms and conditions that apply to the subject matter of the payment (“Master Terms”).

Please note that for security and fraud prevention the University uses third party processors to process all payment transactions.  These are:

  • WPM Education Limited for hosting of this web page
  • GPUK LLP for processing of payment transaction

Your personal data will be used in accordance with the University’s Privacy Notice.

Credit/Debit card payments

In order to make a payment via the web you will need your:

  • unique student number
  • date of birth.

If you are making a payment on behalf of another person, you will need to ask them for this information first.

It is your responsibility to ensure the student’s details are correct. We accept no liability for any payments that are misallocated where you have given incorrect information.

It is your responsibility to check that payment has been made and allocated correctly. Please notify us immediately of any errors and we will endeavour to assist. Payments usually clear into our account in 2 or 3 working days.

We cannot accept any liability if payment is refused or declined by your debit/credit card supplier for whatever reason.

All payments made through this online payment facility must be made in pounds sterling (£GBP). You are responsible for the payment of any currency conversion costs or other charges incurred in making the payment or in processing a refund.

Once a transaction has been completed, the payment may not be cancelled. In certain circumstances, you may be entitled to a refund in accordance with the Master Terms.

The formation, existence, construction, performance, validity and all aspects whatsoever of these terms and conditions or of any individual term or condition herein will be governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes which may arise out of or in connection with the terms and conditions. The parties irrevocably agree to submit to that jurisdiction.
