Headington Campus

Headington Campus is our largest campus and is set across 3 sites (Gipsy Lane, Headington Hill and Marston Road). Located 1 mile east of Oxford city centre, a scenic walk or short bus ride gets you to the heart of the city.

You'll find a thriving student community living and learning in a modern, uplifting environment. The student support team, based in the John Henry Brookes Building, provides a full range of support and advice services on campus.

The first-rate academic and leisure facilities on Headington campus include:

  • a vibrant mix of learning spaces and specialist facilities
  • the main University library with subject-specific librarians
  • several catering outlets and Students' Union
  • sports centre with climbing wall
  • a wide range of accommodation options
  • on-site shop, doctor’s surgery and dental facilities.  

Marston Road Site

Marston Road Site sits 1 mile east of Oxford city centre. With excellent facilities for Healthcare courses, it’s a great environment for studying.

Harcourt Hill Campus

Harcourt Hill Campus is 3 miles from Oxford city centre and a 30-minute bus ride from Headington Campus.

All education courses, English Language and Linguistics, Philosophy and Communication, Media and Culture are taught here.

The excellent academic facilities and spaces to relax and socialise include:

  • 110-acre campus with beautiful green spaces
  • Brookes Sport Botley, one of our state-of-the-art sports centres with gym and swimming pool
  • library and subject-specific librarians
  • on-site accommodation
  • 24-hour computer room
  • on-site refectory
  • chapel.

Swindon Campus

Swindon Campus is located in the Delta Business Park in West Swindon. The location is close to the Great Western Hospital and other placement partners.

Developed to enhance student learning, collaboration and research, Adult Nursing (also available at Headington Campus) is taught here.

State-of-the-art academic facilities include:

  • a subject library
  • clinical skills lab
  • specialist clinical simulation suites
  • collaborative working spaces and social areas
  • cafe.

Wheatley Campus

Wheatley campus is seven miles east of Oxford city centre and a short bus ride to Headington Campus.

Computing, Cyber Security, Computer Science and Robotics, Automotive, Mechanical and Motorsport Engineering and Mathematics courses are all taught here.

The campus has innovative learning spaces and social venues to enjoy. Facilities include:

  • specialist engineering laboratories
  • computing and digital media studios
  • library and subject-specific librarians
  • gym and playing fields
  • a shop and catering outlets.

As part of the University's estates investment plan, we expect all activity to move from Wheatley to a new, purpose-built facility on the Headington Campus. In the meantime, we are continuing to invest in the excellent facilities at Wheatley to ensure they best suit those using them.
