Veganuary at Brookes

Join Veganuary speakers, nutrition experts and Oxford Brookes student and staff representatives for an open discussion about the ethical, environmental and health considerations of veganism.

Have you signed up for the Veganuary challenge this year?

Come along to the JHB 205, John Henry Brookes Building (JHBB), Headington Campus from 4.00 - 7.00pm on Tuesday 31 January to hear from a range of guest speakers and experts, and join in an open discussion about veganism. (This event will be preceded by a Veganuary Fair in the Forum, JHBB, from 11.00am - 3.00pm.)

A virtual Veganuary guest speaker will highlight the ethical and environmental impacts of the agriculture industry, highlighting the benefits of a plant-based food system.

Nutritional Therapist, Sue Rudman, will discuss the health benefits and considerations of a plant-based diet. She will cover the common pitfalls and explain how to take care of yourself and get all the essential nutrients your body needs.

This will be followed by an open discussion on a range of topics including animal rights and humanitarian considerations.

Hopefully this educational event will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to give veganism a try!
