MFA Fine Art Show
This year’s MFA Fine Art End of Year Student Show is entitled: Tabula Rasa. It brings together the work of 17 artists about to graduate from the MFA Fine Art Programme at Oxford Brookes.
The MFA Fine Art students have been on an intensive 1 or 2 year programme, which combines the study of practice, theory and professional experience to provide a holistic tailored approach to individual creative development.
The MFA show represents the culmination of their achievements on the programme, giving each student extensive exhibiting space to realise ambitious work and to curate this for a public audience. This group is diverse not only in terms of identity (e.g. representing seven nationalities), but also, like previous Brookes MFA cohorts, they produce varied and exciting works with hugely different approaches to concepts, methods and media.
The show opens to the public in the Glass Tank Gallery and the Richard Hamilton Building at our Headington sites on Friday 14 June 2.00-5.00pm, continuing from 11.00am-6.00pm everyday until 23 June. 11.00am-6.00pm. The private view is on Thursday 20 June from 6.00-8.00pm.
