13th OBBS HRM Research and Alumni conference

With a theme of “HRM in the Age of AI: Readiness, Research, and Real-World Practice” our conference brings together academics, students and professionals.

The rapid development and integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies are transforming the landscape of human resource management (HRM), raising critical questions about organisational readiness, ethical implications, and the evolving role of HR professionals. This conference explores those questions by bringing together academics, HR practitioners and students of HRM to examine the opportunities, challenges, and ethical implications of AI in HR functions such as recruitment, performance evaluation, learning and development, and workforce planning.

The conference includes two academic keynotes, presentations from current postgraduate HRM students, and a panel discussion involving participants from academia, industry and the CIPD. The conference aim is to advance understanding of how HRM can engage critically and constructively with AI to shape more effective, inclusive, and forward-looking people management.

This is a free event - lunch will be provided.
