Associated morbidity and mortality, nationally, internationally and globally will be considered together with trends in established and emerging infections. Methods to prevent and control infection will be explored including outbreak management, using surveillance, screening and vaccination strategies. You will have the opportunity to increase your knowledge and understanding of the legal and ethical aspects of public health practice.
