    We are here to support you throughout your time at Oxford Brookes and can help with any problem or issue you may face during your time at University in confidence. If we can't resolve the issue, we will make sure we put you in touch with the right person to help you.

    We can provide one to one support, advice, guidance and encouragement to help you progress throughout your course.

    We understand the pressures of student life and equally, combining study with family and work commitments. If you're feeling overwhelmed, it may help to talk to someone not connected to your studies.

    No matter how big or small the problem, we can help with...

    • Personal issues (e.g. loneliness, relationships, workload, anxiety, bereavement)
    • Guidance on making Exceptional Circumstances request

    We want to make sure you are able to get the most out of your experience here at Oxford Brookes and that nothing gets in the way.

    Healthcare and Social Work students are generally supported by Emma and Martha at our Marston Road site. Mel and Jeannie support Biological and Medical Science, Psychology, some health based professional development courses and Sport courses at Gipsy Lane. Mel is also based at Swindon three days a week and supports Nursing and Operating Department Practice students.
