Dr El-Chab is a Senior Lecturer and researcher.

Alaaddine graduated from Holy Spirit University of Kaslik in 2008 with a BSc in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. He then went on to complete an MSc in Clinical Nutrition from the same university in 2011 and another MSc in Applied Sport and Exercise Nutrition at Oxford Brookes University in 2012. He was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in June 2016 from Oxford Brookes University. The title of the thesis is: “The effect of dietary standardisation on exercise performance and physiological responses in male athletes”.

Creating an app that generates the best combination of fruits and vegetables for the clinical population.

The effect of sodium-induced hyperhydration on hydration level and dehydration symptoms during fasting.

The Accuracy of the MyFitnessPal App in Assessing Calorie and Macronutrient Intake.
