Role

Supporting to achieve equitable health outcomes for all social groups accessing our
Maternity Service; targeting support and interventions to the most disadvantaged groups to
improve service quality and address inequalities of access, service provision and healthcare
outcomes.
Lead role in developing an EDI framework in Maternity that supports the Trust’s
commitment to fostering an inclusive working environment that promotes equality of
opportunity and diversity for all staff members and student midwives; recognising that a
workforce that represents the community that it serves delivers a better experience for
service users and better outcomes.
