Dr Carly Schabowski is the USA Today bestseller of eight historical fiction novels:
Carly's work has been translated into eleven languages and her ninth novel The Girl with the Red Ribbon is dure for release in November 2024.
Carly previously worked as a journalist in both Cyprus and Australia, before completing her MA in Creative Writing at Oxford Brookes, as well as her PhD that investigated the author's responsibility within historical fiction. Her novels focus on familial storytelling, lenses of memory and trauma memory, and historiographical metafiction.
Carly Schabowski is an Associate Lecturer and Module Leader for UG Creative Writing and MA modules, Writing the Lives of Others, and Bringing a Story to Life.
