Role
My background is as a registered nurse and since graduating I have been working clinically within the fields of cardiac, acute and intensive care. I have been teaching Continuing Professional Development (CPD) students in the fields of Advanced and Specialist Practice at Oxford Brookes since 2008. I am now working as Programme Lead for Advanced and Specialist Practice, providing leadership and management to the cluster; this includes UG and PG CPD in Advanced Practice, Critical and Specialist Care, Cancer and Palliative Care, SCPHN and District Nursing programmes. It also includes collaborative CPD programmes and modules with local NHS trust partners.

My research interests include recognition and management of the deteriorating patient and simulation based education.
