Role

As Faculty Research Manager, I am the support lead for the Faculty systems and processes that implement our research and knowledge exchange strategies.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • leading the Research Grants Officers to provide appropriate and effective support for pre-submission internal peer review
  • ensuring that the university’s requirements for approval processes for externally funded-research applications, mediated through Worktribe (the university’s costing and approval mechanism) are met
  • lead the Research Administrators, on all Faculty aspects of research degree student support from recruitment through to completion
  • working with Finance colleagues to ensure that the Faculty is not financially compromised through any bid that is submitted
  • Faculty administrative lead on the preparations for future research assessment exercises, including internal pre-submission audits.
