Role
Esra Karahasanoglu is Assistant Director for the Institute for Ethical AI (Oxford Brookes University). She leads the software engineering team and also supports the product management across the organisation. Esra has Masters degrees in Business Analytics and Software Engineering. She is driven by her interest in the business impact of AI and AI used products.
Esra is currently working on the Trustworthy AI Evaluation Framework, which is a continuous assessment methodology that helps to identify the main ethical concerns and potential harms that may occur as a result of using an AI product. The evaluation project is about creating a systematic research based solution that is able to assess the potential harms and the classification of the gradual impact and ethical risks used by AI.
