Role

Haggi is an Early Career Research Fellow at the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences and is a member of the Children and Families Research Group within the Oxford Institute of Nursing, Midwifery & Allied Health Research (OxINMAHR).  Having started his professional career as Public Health Officer and then Paediatric Nurse Practitioner and lecturer in Eritrea, he has completed his doctoral study at the University of Nottingham and then held postdoctoral research post at the University of Dundee.

Haggi’s teaching and research expertise and interests include: mother and infant health, child health, health inequalities including health of refugee and migrant families, health services research, quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and systematic and realist reviews.
