Ms Jeannie Fawcitt

Jeannie joined the team in January 2016. She has an B.A honours degree in in American Studies from Hull University and a PGCE in Secondary Education from Sheffield University.

Her career history is full and varied. She started out teaching English, Media and Drama in a secondary state school in Oxfordshire, followed by a spell of volunteering in Zambia, an Art foundation degree in Banbury and many years working for a GAP year charity in Reading.

Following a career break to raise a family of three boys she returned to work at Oxford Brookes in 2015 as CPD Administrator in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, Marston Road.

Jeannie is also an experienced homestay host for international students, Secretary of her local scout group and keen kayaker at the Oxford Falcon club.
