Softwarization and virtualization of networks
Big Data and Cloud
AI/ML for network and cloud computing
Smart Grid Communication

Previous research work involved traffic engineering of Asynchronous Transmission Mode (ATM) based networks, temporal mapping of IPv6 video/audio traffic over ATM, application of queuing theory for the estimation and provisioning of network resources, layered video encoding and multicasting.
