Role
Lucy is an Associate Lecturer for the Distance Learning MA in Publishing at Oxford Brookes University. She completed both undergraduate and postgraduate Master’s degrees in History, before completing a PhD in the Publishing department at Oxford Brookes University.
Lucy has worked in writing and research, as a library assistant for the Bodleian Libraries, as a historical researcher for a specialist geophysics company, and currently as a Technical Writer. She remains an avid historian, interested in the nineteenth century and the World Wars.
Her experience as an Associate Lecturer began in 2013, assisting on several undergraduate and postgraduate modules, particularly those that prepared students for researching and writing their dissertations. She completed the PGTHE qualification and subsequently became a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority.
