Ms Martha Cadle

B.A (Hons), M.A

Student Support Coordinator

Role

It's my job to make sure that students are well supported throughout their studies. I can refer students on to other services within the University; such as the Wellbeing Team, Upgrade and Brookes Union Advice Service. I help students to apply for Exceptional Circumstances if they need extra time on an assignment, or to take time out if they have a reason for needing to pause their studies.

We also help students with navagating University systesms such as Student Information and Moodle and generally making sure your programme is correct!

We support students who have any concerns or worries about anything in their lives, not just Uni. So please, reach out to us if you need any help at all.

Further details

I've been working at Oxford Brookes in student facing roles since September 2009 and I have always enjoyed working here. The people I've met and worked with have taught me a lot and I absolutley love helping students. I've been in teaching roles and support roles and really feel most suited to being in a support role for students. Every day I feel like I make a positive difference to a students life or study and that's great job satisfaction!

I love nature and animals, travelling, art, craft, astronomy and dressing on the more alternative side of the spectrum!
